Prince Investigated by the UN

Everybody’s favorite contractor Erik Prince is back in the news. According to Reuters Prince has been accused by the United Nations “at the very least” of helping smugglers evading an arms embargo of Libya. A spokesperson for the well to do military contractor has denied the allegations

Libya has been in a constant state of strife since the Arab Spring revolution that ousted the dictator Muammar Gadaffi. The international community recognizes the newly formed government in the western part of the country. The government has been under attack from the forces of a warlord named Haftar. Prince is accused by the UN of providing support for Haftar’s militia.

Prince has operations in Dubai and Africa. In Hong Kong Prince’s men train Chinese soldiers employed in the concentration camps in Xinjiang Province; re educating Uighurs to be good Communists (Vox). See this previous Post.
