He gained international stardom as his escape performances grew in complexity. He starred in several movies and was an avid aviator. From 1917 until his death in 1926 (by a punch that caused his appendix to rupture) he was the president of the American Society of Magicians. He also spent much of his time debunking mediums and spiritualists. So much so he became the antagonist of Sir Arthur Canon Doyle, who considered him an enemy of mysticism. On the right is the birth chart of actor Bob Crane. Crane is best known for his role as Colonel Hogan in the hit TV series Hogan’s Heroes. He lived a fairly uncontroversial life. Crane died at the age of 48, the victim of a homicide that remains unsolved.
