As a manager of Al Taqwa Bank he was accused of financing Islamic Terrorist groups including al-Queda. The bank was taken under stewardship by the Swiss government.
Al Taqwa Bank founders include Youssef Nada of the Muslim Brotherhood and Francois Genaud. Genaud is best known as a financier and benefactor of the Nazi Diaspora, assisting Nazis to escape and who had escaped prosecution in Europe. His friends included militant Carlos the Jackal, one-time Gestapo agent and Interpol head Paul Dickopf, SS general Karl Wolff, Nazi Economy Minister Hjalmar Schacht, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin al-Husseini and Palestinian militant Wadie Haddad.
