The Federal Aviation Administration announced a no fly zone of parts of southern New Mexico and El Paso Texas for 10 days. They lifted the restriction 7 hours later (El Paso Matters). The restriction disrupted air traffic from the El Paso airport. The action was blamed on a cartel terrorist drone attack. As of this writing no one has come forward with witness information of the attack.

The New Mexico State Senate passed a House bill banning ICE detention centers in the state. The ICE centers are in the southern part of New Mexico north of El Paso (USA Today).

New Mexico’s Public Lands Commissioner Stephanie Garcia Richard has called for an investigation at Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch (KOAT News). An anonymous tip in 2019 from someone claiming to have been an employee at the ranch said there were two bodies buried somewhere on the property. They were reportedly young foreign women who died from strangulation during rough sex. KOAT news reached out to the FBI with questions about why the tip was never investigated and received no comment.
