Dictators like their militias. Militias can be used to keep the populace in line; they know the territory, local languages, customs and the people in their towns. The Milice, a French militia aligned with the Nazis and the Vichy French were most effective against the French Resistance.
Contemporary dictators have militias. Vladimir Putin has his Night Wolves who use intimidation tactics on Baltic States. Diosdado Cabello, and before him Nicolas Maduro, have their Colectivos; Venezuelan militias that help suppress anti Chavista protests. In Iran the Ayatollah Khamenei used the Basij militias to kill 30K+ anti regime protesters. Now they help Motjaba Khamenei and Masoud Pezeshkian.
If militias get a little out of hand, massacre civilians for example, the dictator can deflect the blame. “These militias aren’t under our direct control.”
As we watch the fascist man gods mold the US we can see their fascination with militias as well – right wing ones. Remember when we got heavy about the use of propaganda and ideologies? Here’s another example. The fascist man gods who pretend to be on the left promote gun control – essentially getting leftists to stay unarmed through their ideology. The fascist man gods on the right oppose gun control, they know the leftists will keep themselves in a position of weakness.

The Base is a paramilitary neo Nazi group that operates in the United States, Australia, Canada, Europe and South Africa. Rinaldo Nazzaro created the organization. He uses the pseudonyms Norman Spear and Roman Wolf. Nazzaro was reported to have bought several blocks of off-the-grid land in Ferry County, Washington, in 2018 for use as a survivalist and paramilitary training camp (krem.com – news).

Nazzaro cites Harold Covington and his Northwest Territorial Imperative (this post) as a model for creating a white ethnostate; through intimidation and attacks against non whites and Jews. The Base teaches that adherents should dedicate their life to creating lone wolf and clandestine cell terrorist attacks. The idea is to create a race war by crippling society. Out of the ashes of this war they wish to create a new, all white nation in the Pacific Northwest. (Southern Poverty Law Center).

Nathan Weeden of The Base was sentenced on June 4, 2024 to 26 months and 3 years supervised release for “defacing, damaging or destroying religious property because of the race or ethnic characteristics of individuals associated with that property.” (justice.gov) He and his co-conspirators, Richard Tobin of New Jersey and Yousef Barasneh, of Wisconsin had desecrated a Michigan Synogogue with Neo Nazi symbols. The other two men plead guilty to federal conspiracy charges related to the incident.
In January of 2020 The Base members Luke A Lane, Jacob Oliver Kaderli and Michael John Helterbrand were arrested for allegedly stockpiling weapons and plotting to kill a couple they thought were anti-fascist and their young children. In preparation, Lane, along with dozen other people, engaged in paramilitary training, consumed psychedelic drugs, sacrificed a ram, and drank its blood in an occult ritual on his property. Wikipedia

Jurgen Stroop (born Josef Stroop 26 September 1895 – 6 March 1952) was a Nazi SS commander who was in charge of the occupation of Poland and Greece. He led the suppression of the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
Enlisting in the Prussian Army in 1914 as an infantryman started his military career. He fought on the Western Front in several different units.
Stroop changed his first name to a more Nordic one after his conversion to Neo Nazi paganism; a belief in the god Wotan. He believed the Aryan race and societies were being polluted by Jews and Christians (see Case Study 2).
The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising started when SS troops moved in to the Ghetto to begin deportations. The Jews living there ambushed the troops and the fight was on. The Germans used flamethrowers to torch buildings and smoke to drive people out. The fight lasted about 10 days.

Stroop ordered the execution of nine US Airmen in 1944. When the allies crossed the Rhine he and his few remaining men exchanged their SS uniforms for those of the Wehrmacht and surrendered. When tried in Dachau for the execution of the airmen he feigned innocence. He was sentenced to death and then extradited to Poland. After being tried for war crimes related to the suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising he was sentenced to death. Jurgen was hung on March 6, 1952.

Robert Jay Matthews (January 16, 1953 – December 8, 1984) was the founder of The Sons of Liberty, a right wing militia and The Order, a Neo Nazi movement. The Sons of Liberty was made up of Mormon survivalists. It’s membership stagnated when the non Mormon members had disagreements with the Mormon members. Matthews moved with his father to Metaline WA where he formed The Order.
The Order was far more radical then The Sons of Liberty. The Order’s main objective was to start a white supremacist revolution against the United States, after which blacks, Jews, “race mixers”, and other perceived enemies would be exterminated. Members robbed businesses, armored cars and counterfeited money. Their most successful robbery was of a Brink’s truck in July of 1984. They netted $3.6M some of which they distributed to other white nationalist organizations and the White Patriot Party.
Matthews was surrounded at a safe house in Freeland, WA by the FBI. He fired upon officers attempting to enter his house. Flares were fired into the house which ignited stored ammunition and hand grenades. The resulting fire burned to the building to the ground. Matthew’s body was found with his pistol still in hand.
Robert Matthews is considered a martyr by white nationalists. He knew this lifetime isn’t the end. Today he is approximately 38 years old with a new name and a servant of the man gods. He is also not the boss.
