Revolutions are not spontaneous uprisings of people. No such thing exists. People have been coerced into pursuing self interest making them easier to control. Cooperative spirit and teamwork are not encouraged. Racism and sexism serve the same divisive purpose.
Revolutions are created by teams of people with a common cause. They require propaganda, money and organization. They are exclusively the result of wealthy people organized to support a cause for purposes idealistic or nefarious. In all fairness they don’t always know the true purpose of a revolutionary endeavor.
The US revolution against the British Empire was organized by wealthy colonists with financial and material support from the French monarch Louis XVI. It was in the French interest to support the rebels fighting against their British enemies.
The Russian Provincial Government formed upon the abdication of Nicholas II and turned into a power share with the Petrograd Soviet. Basically there were two governments. The Bolshevik revolution later that year (1917) against the Provincial Government was financed by the German government and Alexander Parvus (Case Study 44).
The NAZI revolution, not a violent one, was supported by wealthy industrialists, military officers and German nobility. Propaganda was the main weapon utilized by the German fascists; Nazi party members were voted into office and Hitler was made prime minister. They were the most popular guys in school.
