Pantera takes it’s name the Greek philosopher Celsus who stated that Jesus was the son of a Roman soldier named Tiberius Pantera. The story says taht young Mary (mother of Jesus) had relations with Pantera, a renown soldier but the union may not have been consensual.

Both the ancient Talmud and medieval Jewish writings and sayings reinforced this notion, referring to “Yeshu ben Pantera,” literally; Jesus son of Pantera – Wikipedia

It is worth noting Pantera was not an uncommon name in Roman society.
