Jean Harlow (March 3, 1911 – June 7, 1937) was an actress in the 1930s. She was a sex symbol who rivaled actresses like Gretta Garbo. She made movies over a 9 year span.

Harlow had been a heavy drinker from the time she was young. She died of kidney failure while filming her last movie, Saratoga, in Los Angeles. Her sickness had been initially misdiagnosed. She was ill for three weeks until she slipped into a coma and died.

Mary Leona Gage (April 8, 1939 – October 5, 2010) was an actress and model. She was selected as Miss USA 1957. The title was taken away from her when it was discovered she had two children and had married at the age of 14.

When the scandal broke she was approached with offers to appear on television. She was a guest on the Ed Sullivan Show and became a sensation. She appeared in a few films, mostly non-leading roles. After a breakdown and attempt at suicide, she became a burlesque dancer and stage singer. She left entertainment in the 1960s. Gage died of heart failure in 2010.

Audrii Cunningham (February 5, 2013 – February 15, 2024) was born in Livingston Texas. She was abducted and killed. Her body was found tied to a stone and in the Trinity River. The cause of death is listed as blunt force trauma to the head.

The person accused of this crime is Don Steven McDougal, a family friend who was to deliver her to school. Court records from Brazoria County Texas show McDougal pleaded no contest in 2008 to two felony counts of enticing a child and was sentenced to two years in prison.

McDougal was indicted on April 24, 2024 for the crime of murder and his trial is pending
