Head of Reich Security

Reinhard Heydrich (7 March 1904 – 4 June 1942) was the head of the Reich Security Main Office and a chief architect of the holocaust. He helped organize Kristallnacht and chaired the Wannsee Conference that formalized plans to answer the Jewish Question. (Wikipedia)

Heydrich was sickly as a child but later developed into an athletic swimmer. He also practiced fencing. His father was a founder of the Halle Conservatory, and he played piano and violin from an early age. He was considered a talented violinist by many who listened to him play during his adulthood.

At the age of 18 (1922) he joined the German Navy and served until 1931. When he was discharged he joined the Nazi party the next day. He became involved in the Gestapo and moved up from there.

Reinhard Heydrich << was ambushed by a Czech commando team in Prague on 27 May 1942. He died on the 4th of June from his wounds.
