People were up in arms over Anthony Fauci‘s alleged funding of “gain of function” research and testing on dogs (FoxNews). Dr Richard Ebright, professor of chemical biology at Rutgers, was interviewed by the Washington Examiner. He told them about a letter in which the National Institute of Health admitted to funding research on bat coronavirus and had violated it’s own rules (YahooNews).
Fauci was first appointed as the head of the NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease) in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan at the age of 44. That, like William Barr‘s first appointment, seems a little young to me.
He was the US’s lead researcher on HIV and was unpopular with the LGBTQ segment of society. Fauci painted the disease out to be a “gay” disease causing resistance to funding for a cure. I’m fairly certain the disease doesn’t care if it’s host is gay or not.
Sen Rand Paul (R-KY) penned a letter to the DOJ asking for a criminal referral because Fauci lied to Congress.
The first respiratory disease to come out of Xi Jinping‘s China was called SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome). It arose in 2002, right after 9/11 failed to deliver a government crackdown and mass execution of undesirables. Chinese scientists claim it arose from cave bats in Yunnan Province.
Fauci began supplying funds to the Wuhan Labs in 2003 after the SARS outbreak. He was ordered by President Obama to stop in 2014. The federal ban on making lethal viruses was lifted in 2017 (NYTimes).
$3.7 million is not really a lot of money. Some homes have a higher price. That amount of money wouldn’t accomplish much but might be low enough to sneak pass federal regulators. What it could accomplish is to make the US government seem complicit in the creation of a biological weapon – further degrading our status on the world stage of diplomacy.
Fauci being the face of vaccinations and masks gave fire to the anti-vaxxer movement. Because he got caught sending money to Wuhan Labs some people were easily discouraged from getting the shots he promoted. His actions probably caused more deaths and hospitalizations.
