Karma in relation to reincarnation is the idea that good deeds and good intent lead to happier rebirths. The original idea of karma in Hinduism was based on obedience to demons/gods that would punish a soul for angering them. Later came the idea that people were rewarded by being placed in birth families based on their prior life works. Good people were to have good next lives.
Good people would reincarnate in wealthier or better placed caste or family. People who were evil would be placed in a lower caste. Very evil people would be reincarnated as Dalit or “untouchables.” This latter group were not allowed to own land, they held the lowest paying jobs (primarily sanitation) and historically have been discriminated against. They have lower accessibility to health care, education and justice than the average citizen. The religion taught this was punishment for past crimes.
Buddhism and Jainism were philosophical revolutions against the caste ideology. Buddhists believe anyone can reach enlightenment through knowledge of the 4 Noble Truths and right thoughts and actions. Jainism espouses asceticism. But neither believe that only people in the priestly caste have access to enlightenment.
The beliefs in demons that attach themselves to people and attempt to destroy them is held in many religions as well. They usually hold that only the evil are plagued by these evil beings. The only way a demon can affect someone is if they are a sinner. Suspiciously convenient belief system for demons.
In the Case Studies one will find some examples that should convince one to question these beliefs.

This is Congressman Joseph P Addabbo (D, Queens, NY). Addabbo was known for his support of racial equality. He was also known for his hawkish stance against the military spending of the Reagan administration. His district was even redrawn in an attempt to remove him from office. He was a thorn in the sides of the Neo Cons.

On the right is the birth chart of Jeff Weise, a 16 year old Ojibwe boy who killed 9 and injured 5 others in a school shooting before turning his weapon on himself. An obvious brainwashee; Weise idolized Adolf Hitler (also a set up) and tried to convince other indigenous students of his merit. He had made two attempts at suicide the year prior to the mass shooting. Another school shooting to make a case for gun control. The giant fascists don’t like people messing with their plans.
Demons are people too.
