On 26 July, 2024 three men were sentenced for the crimes of disabling power grids in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Liam Collins, Paul James Kryscuk and Justin Hermanson had been members of a neo Nazi forum called “Iron March.” (USA Today)

Collins and Jordan Duncan (being tried seperately) were former Marines who had been discharged. “In 2020, the Marine Corps told Military.com that Collins’ separation was ‘indicative of the fact that the character of his service was incongruent with Marine Corps’ expectations and standards.‘” Military.com

There were over 100 attacks on power stations in the US in 2022. Many of these attacks were used to black out areas so the perpetrators could commit burglaries (Fox). The perpetrators caught were largely radicalized white supremacists. Racist militias use crime to build finances for future attacks as did The Order (see Case Study 77).

Jordan Duncan, also a onetime Marine and defense contractor, researched information on firearms, explosives and nerve toxins as part of a Atomwaffen Division cell. What future attack they had planned hasn’t been revealed by law enforcement.
