Russia celebrated Christmas by attacking Ukraine’s infrastructure with more than 70 missiles and over 100 drone attacks (Reuters). Russia has done this every winter in an effort to freeze Ukraine’s civilians. The Ukraine troops are manning defensive positions on the front with Russia so the attacks have no military significance. It’s an effort to weaponize winter against the civilian population.

So far the United States and it’s NATO allies have been staunch supporters of Ukraine’s freedom fighters with the exception of Matt Gaetz‘s manipulation of the House to cut aid for 6 months. He did this by ousting speaker Kevin McCarthy with the help of misled democrats (Wikipedia). At the time a Ukraine offensive was making great gains against Vlad Putin‘s occupying forces. The offensive ground to a halt as the aid bill was tied up and troops started running out of ammunition (Wikipedia).
