On January 7 2025 the Biden administration issued a statement accusing the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of genocide. The US has leveled sanctions against it’s leader and associated companies. In December of 2023 the US accused the RSF of war crimes and ethnic cleansing in the world’s largest humanitarian crisis (AP). This new declaration opens the door to the new sanctions (AP).
As if on cue the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with Yale University ran a story suggesting the Hamas run Palestinian Health Ministry under estimated deaths in the ongoing Hamas Israeli War (France 24). I’m not sure why they think they can be more accurate than Hamas as they aren’t on the scene. But they are correct in questioning the Hamas numbers; in the confusion it would be difficult for anyone to keep an accurate accounting. When this is over a more clear picture will emerge. The book (and movie) Manufacturing Consent by Edward Herman and Noam Chomsky presents a hypothesis that the press is used to manipulate popular opinion. The method is to run stories they want people to focus on often; and rarely present stories they want the masses to forget. In today’s information reality this could be accomplished by large news conglomerates and search engines.
A quick search of “Sudan War news” shows an al Jazeera article from today and one from 2 days ago. There is the Associated Press article mentioned above and a couple from CBS and NPR dated 3 days ago. By comparison; a search of “Israeli Hamas War news” pulled up 11 news articles published within the 12 hours.
The Janjaweed RSF has reverted to it’s old habits. They looted $13M worth of food intended for refugees from the UN World Food Program, who pulled their members out of the country. 6.7M people are internally displaced and another 2M have fled the country. As of April 15, 2024, 24.8M people are in immediate need of assistance. On April 2024, the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights released a report into breaches of the Genocide Convention in Darfur. The independent report found that there is “clear and convincing evidence” that the RSF and its allied militias “have committed and are committing genocide against the Masalit,” a non-Arab ethnic group.
After the June and November 2023 massacres, the RSF and its allied Arab militias undertook operations to conceal their atrocities, forcing members of non-Arab groups to discard thousands of bodies in mass graves and confiscating the cell phones of survivors to prevent evidence from being shared with the outside world. One Sudanese Red Crescent volunteer reported loading 400 bodies in one week, including women and children, many with bullet wounds to the head. From late April until mid-June, at least 1,000 bodies were buried in al-Ghabat cemetery. Dozens of eyewitness accounts confirm that the burial of Masalit bodies in El Geneina lasted for weeks due to the high number of bodies. Reports of murders and rapes of girls as young as 12 years old have been reported in regions taken over by the RSF (Human Rights Watch).

Why would there be an effort to get people to focus on the Israeli Hamas conflict and look away from the war in Sudan? The differences might lend us a clue. In Sudan the perpetrators of war crimes are Muslims and the victims are black non Muslim ethnic groups. Initially, and possibly encouraging, Russian president for life Vlad Putin supported the RSF.

Jurgen Stroop (born Josef Stroop 26 September 1895 – 6 March 1952) was a Nazi SS commander who was in charge of the occupation of Poland and Greece. He led the suppression of the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
Enlisting in the Prussian Army in 1914 as an infantryman started his military career. He fought on the Western Front in several different units.
Stroop changed his first name to a more Nordic one after his conversion to Neo Nazi paganism; a belief in the god Wotan. He believed in the pollution of the Aryan race and societies by Jews and Christians (see Case Study 2).
The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising started when SS troops moved in to the Ghetto to begin deportations. The Jews living there ambushed the troops and the fight was on. The Germans used flamethrowers to torch buildings and smoke to drive people out. The fight lasted about 10 days.
“13,000 Jews were killed in the ghetto during the uprising (some 6,000 among them were burnt alive or died from smoke inhalation). Of the remaining 50,000 residents, almost all were captured and shipped to the death camps of Majdanek and Treblinka.” Wikipedia
Stroop ordered the execution of nine US Airmen in 1944. When the allies crossed the Rhine he and his few remaining men donned Wehrmacht uniforms and surrendered. When tried in Dachau for the execution of the airmen he feigned innocence. He was sentenced to death and then extradited to Poland. After being tried for war crimes related to the suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising he was sentenced to death. Jurgen was hung on March 6, 1952.

Robert Jay Matthews (January 16, 1953 – December 8, 1984) was the founder of The Sons of Liberty, a right wing militia and The Order, a Neo Nazi movement. The Sons of Liberty was made up of Mormon survivalists. It’s membership stagnated when the non Mormon members had disagreements with the Mormon members. Matthews moved with his father to Metaline WA where he formed The Order.
The Order was far more radical then The Sons of Liberty. The Order’s main objective was to start a white supremacist revolution against the United States, after which blacks, Jews, “race mixers”, and other perceived enemies would be exterminated. They robbed businesses, armored cars and counterfeited money. Their most successful robbery was of a Brink’s truck in July of 1984. They netted $3.6M some of which they distributed to other white nationalist organizations and the White Patriot Party.
Matthews was surrounded at a safe house in Freeland, WA by the FBI. He fired upon officers attempting to enter his house. Flares were fired into the house which ignited stored ammunition and hand grenades. The resulting fire burned to the building to the ground. Matthew’s body was found with his pistol still in hand.
Robert Matthews is considered a martyr by white nationalists. He knew what we know, this lifetime isn’t the end. Today he is approximately 38 years old with a new name. He is also not the boss.
