One of the most common conspiracy theories circulating in the world is the idea the use of the US dollar on the international market is some sort of financial takeover device. The truth isn’t so exciting; it’s a stable currency making it easier to use. Fluctuations in prices of goods and services would be much more difficult to analyze when compared to currencies that also fluctuate.
Introducing BRICS, based on an article of upcoming economies in the 2000’s; Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. These nations started a trading bloc in an attempt to rival the G7 and compete with the US dollar’s influence.
Does BRICS pose a threat to the US economy? Absolutely not. Every nation in the world prints it’s own currency. Exchanging one currency for another is not difficult. People using one currency over another boils down to convenience and personal choice. Dollars are exchanged for Euros every day.
Why then, does US President again Donald Trump want to encourage this fake conspiracy by sounding off like an economic tyrant about forcing countries to use the dollar? This will obviously encourage more nations to join the BRICS trading bloc. I’m sure Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin are very happy with The Big T.
