The Ramtha School of Enlightenment of Yelm Washington is described as a New Age Spiritual Sect established in 1988. JZ Knight, their leader, says she was visited by a “Golden God” in 1977. He is a 35,000 year old being she calls Ramtha. Knight channels Ramtha and then teaches people.
In 1988, J. Z. Knight founded Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment (RSE), then called Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment: The American Gnostic School, on her 80-acre (32 ha) estate in Yelm, Washington. A division of Knight’s company JZK, Inc., the school had around 80 staff members as of 2014. The Base is a paramilitary neo Nazi group that operates in South Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe and the United States. Rinaldo Nazzaro created the organization. He uses the pseudonyms Norman Spear and Roman Wolf. Nazzaro was reported to have bought several blocks of off-the-grid land in Ferry County, Washington, in 2018 for use as a survivalist and paramilitary training camp (krem.com – news).

The Base teaches that adherents should dedicate their life to creating lone wolf and clandestine cell terrorist attacks. The idea is to create a race war by crippling society. Nathan Weeden of The Base was sentenced on June 4, 2024 to 26 months and 3 years supervised release for “defacing, damaging or destroying religious property because of the race or ethnic characteristics of individuals associated with that property.” (justice.gov) He and his co-conspirators, Richard Tobin of New Jersey and Yousef Barasneh, of Wisconsin had desecrated a Michigan Synogogue with Neo Nazi symbols. The other two men plead guilty to federal conspiracy charges related to the incident.
In January of 2020 The Base members Luke A Lane, Jacob Oliver Kaderli and Michael John Helterbrand were arrested for allegedly stockpiling weapons and plotting to kill a couple they thought were anti-fascist and their young children. In preparation, Lane, along with dozen other people, engaged in paramilitary training, consumed psychedelic drugs, sacrificed a ram, and drank its blood in an occult ritual on his property. Wikipedia
