Now we know what Secretary of Defense, errr War, Pete Hegseth called 800 flag officers away from their commands, and work, to tell them. He, and US President for Life hopeful Donald Trump want to find out who among them follow the MAGA ideology.
“The new compass heading is clear. Out with the Chiarellis, the McKenzies and the Milleys, and in with the Stockdales, the Schwarzkopfs and the Pattons.” Hegseth said.
This was a threat against the jobs of dedicated professionals who could have retired already.
“No more identity months, DEI offices, dudes in dresses,” Hegseth said. “No more climate change worship, no more division, distraction, or gender delusions.”
This is Hegseth’s selling point; where he informs the flag officers of the changes he wants to see. He wants them to adopt the MAGA ideology.
“Frankly, it’s tiring to look out at combat formations or really any formation and see fat troops. Likewise, it’s completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals in the halls of the Pentagon,” Hegseth said.
This is a final attempt at intimidation. He threatens to let them go based on their physical fitness level.
Military physical fitness standards are partially based on age. Flag officers’ most important assets are their minds; the knowledge and experience they have acquired and their ability to lead and make sound decisions in dynamic adverse conditions.
Trump wants to fill the flag ranks with yes men, much like Hegseth, to further the Maga agenda.
