Les Wexner is in the news for his deposition to congress. Wexner said he did not consider Jeffrey Epstein his friend. His birthday note, on the same card with the infamous message from Donald Trump, says otherwise. According to Wexner he signed the card after having been asked to by Ghislaine Maxwell.

Wexner is one of the men who made Epstein rich. Epstein was hired by Wexner as his personal financial advisor from 1987 to 2007. Wexner gave him power of attorney over, and installed him as a trustee of, the Wexner Foundation. Did Epstein have leverage on Wexner dating to before 1987?
In the 1990s, Les Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein were involved in relocating Southern Air Transport (a CIA front organization with ties to the Iran-Contra affair and alleged CIA drug smuggling) from Miami to Columbus. Southern Air transported goods related to Wexner’s businesses, but in 1996, Customs agents found a hidden shipment of cocaine on one of the planes. Also in the news is another Jeffrey Epstein associate; British former Prince Andrew. He was arrested today for “suspicion of misconduct in public office.” He was booked and released.
Andrew has always surrounded himself with interesting and questionable people in his business dealings.

In December 2024, it was reported that Andrew had invited Chris Yang, a Chinese businessman initially identified as “H6” in legal documents, to events at royal residences. Yang had been authorised by a royal aide, Dominic Hampshire, to act on Andrew’s behalf when dealing with potential investors in China. Yang was barred from entering the United Kingdom in 2023 due to alleged involvement in “covert and deceptive activity” on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party. Andrew ceased all contact with Yang following government concerns.
