Iranian drones have launched at least two successful attacks on US CIA stations in the Middle East. Leaked information has signalled the locations of these facilities was provided to Iran by Vladimir Putin‘s intelligence agencies (Daily Mail).

Russian assistance to Iran would not be surprising. The two countries share drone and other military technology and have long been aligned. The US government is looking into the suspected Russian intelligence assistance given to Iranian forces (Reuters).
