Another IAEA Report to the UN

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) filed a complaint on 9 September 2026 with the UN. They say Iran is sabotaging the inspectors ability to monitor what Motjaba Khamenei and Masoud Pezeshkian are doing with that enriched uranium.

The UN’s nuclear watchdog agency is asking the body to hold Iran accountable for failing to stick with safeguards meant to prevent the development of nuclear weapons, diplomatic officials announced Wednesday. CNN

Last year, on 31 May 2025, the IAEA submitted it’s “Iran Verification and Monitoring Report.” Iran had been enriching uranium at a never before seen pace. Of the findings

Iran can convert its current stock of 60 percent enriched uranium into 233 kg of WGU in three weeks at the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP), enough for 9 nuclear weapons, taken as 25 kg of weapon-grade uranium (WGU) per weapon. Institute for Science and International Security

It was in response to this report that Israel launched missile attacks against Iranian nuclear facilities on 13 June 2025 (Wikipedia). US President Donald Trump used bunker buster bombs against 3 Iranian nuclear facilities including the Fordow site on 22 June; exactly 3 weeks after the report.
