The question of Free Will versus Determinism is often debated philosophically. Different iterations of thinkers and religions vary greatly. Do people have free will and are they responsible for their actions or lack thereof? Do people simply act out a program predetermined by a divine intelligence as part of a plan?
More importantly; why ask this question in the first place? What is it about the human psyche that makes us wonder why we do the things we do? People recognize that many of their behaviors and actions are spontaneous. Most react to situations and justify or rationalize their response afterward. This is why we ask the question in the first place.
One example of behavior people feel they have no control over is the tendency to seek out a partner that is like their parents. The idea is that a woman will seek out someone like her father, a man someone like his mother. If the parent was abusive this can be a problem. People will recognize the pattern (hopefully) at some point in their life and spend money on therapy or hypnosis in an effort to break the habit.
According to psychologists imprinting may explain this phenomena (Psychology Today). The idea is a child’s first love is their parent and they become used to, and associate love with, the relationship with that parent. It’s a type of programming. As stated before an abusive relationship can cause a person to seek out a partner with those same tendencies.
The answer to the question of Free Will vs Determinism lies partially in this context. Between lifetimes the abusive relationship between the giant fascists and their rapists and the souls waiting to reincarnate carries into their next life. Some will associate with the fascists, others will submit to the programming. All of them come out affected. The giants want the souls to view them as “father figures.” Their actions must seem righteous.
To this end the giants will falsely accuse and punish through rape or torture; the observers must believe these actions are justified. When the souls reincarnate these giants will be believed no matter how big the lie. The average human’s ego will prevent an admission of this subconscious fear but they will associate with, befriend if you will, the giants and agree with them for safety. They will become angry with those who oppose the giants.
The giants will be feared and therefore selected for advancement in society. They will become wonder boy Bishops, attorney generals, police chiefs, politicians, high ranking officers. The average people will love them as a child loves a parent in a dysfunctional relationship. They become the alpha in a group through the rapes that no one remembers. Infiltrating and taking over social organizations becomes easy.
Add this to a paternalistic religious belief system and you have a recipe for control. The fascist giants become all wise and knowing gods of Rome, Egypt or a monotheistic god (or representative) just as they are to people now. Their actions are considered beyond the questioning of mere sinful mortals – who aren’t aware these sorcerers are living men themselves.
This is Samuel Gibbs French (November 22, 1818 – April 20, 1910). He was a US Army officer from New Jersey who sided with the Confederate States during the US Civil War. He was a Brigadier General for the CSA. After the war he retired to his plantation in Mississippi. French placed the blame for the Civil War on the greed of the North. He claimed that history would show the South was vindicated and the North should compensate southern slave owners for abolishing the practice.
This is NAZI Dr. Josef Mengele (16 March 1911 – 7 February 1979). Also known as the “Angel of Death,” he performed sadistic research on imprisoned Jewish children while stationed at Auschwitz. This “research” was simply torture under another name. He was harvesting souls. After World War II he escaped to South America and lived under the assumed name Wolfgang Gerhard. He drowned in 1979 in Brazil.
