While a war created by tyrannical President for Life Vlad Putin rages in Ukraine the GOP anti-patriots have decided to have recess. With full support of Vlad’s buddy Donald Trump, Matt Gaetz appointee to the position of Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has decided to pull a fast one. To avoid supporting Ukraine’s independence from Russia Johnson called for a recess. I guess “Making America Great Again” doesn’t include assisting democracies fighting against KGB throwbacks (Business Insider); even when our NATO allies request it (The Hill).

Due to a shortage of ammunition Ukraine’s freedom fighters have been forced to pull back from the strategic city of Adviika. The city held off Russian assaults for 2 years since the start of the invasion (Battle of Adviika). We’ve seen the giant Phil (says he was Rommel but wasn’t) stumping to stop aid to Ukraine, back in 2002 we saw him stumping for the invasion of Iraq.

When protests against his re election (claimed fraudulent) broke out Putin sent 30K Russian troops to assist in quelling the unrest. Lyudmila Navalnaya, mother of Russian dissident leader Alexei Navalny, said she has seen her son’s body. Navalnaya claimed investigators were “blackmailing” her into setting the conditions of her son’s burial (ABC).
Alexei Navalny’s widow, Yulia Navalny, has vowed to continue the fight against Putin’s tyranny (Politico.eu). Let’s hope she does it from outside of Russia.
What can we expect from the squirly fascist supporters in the “new” GOP? Are they going to come back and sign the bill supporting Ukraine, go for another recess or try to distract everyone with the “border crisis” they don’t want monetary assist with (Forbes)?
