A big question in religious minds is “what happens to children when they die?“ Do they go to heaven or hell?
In Judaism we are told that Yhwh condones the killing of children; one example being orders to King Saul
1 Samuel 15:3 “Now, go, and you shall smite Amalek, and you shall utterly destroy all that is his, and you shall not have pity on him: and you shall slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.”
Presumably Yhwh had already cast judgement upon them. One of the earliest ideas in Judaism of a place the dead were sent was Gehenna; a valley where children were sacrificed to Moloch by the Canaanites. This practice was also carried out by the Israelites during the reigns of King Solomon in the 10th century BC and King Manasseh in the 7th century BC and continued until the Babylonian Exile in the 6th century BC. Gehenna later was made a garbage dump to discourage a reintroduction of such sacrifice.
The concept of Original Sin is not part of Judaism; they believe children are born pure and sinless. However the idea of Heaven and Hell did not originally apply to the religion. Everyone who died went to Sheol – a place of forgetfulness. Job 10:21 before I go and do not return, to a land of darkness and the shadow of death 22 a land of darkness like darkness itself; the shadow of death without orders, and where the light is as darkness.
“The specific doctrine of original sin was developed in the 3rd century struggle against Gnosticism by Irenaeus of Lyons, and was shaped significantly by Augustine of Hippo (354–430 AD), who was the first author to use the phrase “original sin”. Influenced by Augustine, the Councils of Carthage (411–418 AD) and Orange (529 AD) brought theological speculation about original sin into the official lexicon of the Church.” Wikipedia
A basis for Augustine’s argument is in Paul’s epistle to the Romans 5:12 Well then; it was through one man that sin came into the world, and through sin death, and thus death has spread through the whole human race because everyone has sinned. The idea that everyone carries the blame from Adam’s lie to Yhwh about eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil comes from Genesis 3.
Christian denominations have various beliefs on the topic of children’s fate after death. The Roman Catholics believe if a child isn’t baptized before death they will go to hell as all are born sinners.
In the Islamic version Adam didn’t actually sin. Shaytan (or Satan) lied to him Quran 7:21 “He took an oath in God. He swore in God’s name, go eat from this tree. It is good for you. You will stay longer in paradise.” Adam had never been lied to before so he believed Shaytan’s “oath.”
Allah seems to have no qualms about killing children; similar to Yhwh. Moses meets a man “who is Ours” and asks to travel with him so he may learn.
Quran 18:74 So they proceeded until they came across a boy, and the man killed him. Moses protested, “Have you killed an innocent soul, who killed no one? You have certainly done a horrible thing.” 75 He answered, “Did I not tell you that you cannot have patience with me?” 76 Moses replied, “If I ever question you about anything after this, then do not keep me in your company, for by then I would have given you enough of an excuse.”…. 80 “And as for the boy, his parents were ˹true˺ believers, and we feared that he would pressure them into defiance and disbelief.
During the Siege of Ta’if, Muhammad was questioned on his choice to use siege devices that would undoubtedly kill women and children non combatants. His reply was “they come from them.“
Muslims believe that Muslim children who die before the age of puberty go to Jannah (heaven). Abu Hurairah Radiallahu anhu narrates that Rasoolullah Sallallahu was once asked: ‘ What will be the fate of the Children of the Polytheists (or non-believers in general, ie the children that die before reaching the age of puberty and maturity)’? Rasoolullah Sallahu replied: “Allah knows best as to what actions they would have committed in their lives.” Some Muslims believe non-Muslim children who die go to Jannah to be servants or go to a place between Jahannam (hell) and Jannah until judgement day.
The truth we know; souls have their memory erased and are then reprogrammed before reincarnation time. Of course if one saw children being reprogrammed, that is to say raped on the other side, one would be inclined to report this in terms of the religious system one believed in. This style of writing would be safer, and stand the test of time. Q and A with Professors Tzu and Tzu
Here’s the big question; why do religions believe that children are being punished in hell? The answer is people have seen children being sexually assaulted by fascist giants, and so could the people who wrote the books. The children aren’t sinners but that’s the only thing that made sense from the authors’ point of view. Should these writings be changed? Absolutely not; they are clues to the truth.
On Oct 30, 2024 the fascist giant Phil (who pretends to be Rommel but wasn’t) said in the 4th D he was gentle with the souls of dead children and doesn’t rape them like the others. We know he is also a rapist however, and imposes his face over those he wishes to take the blame for his actions.

Maybe both; we know how much Phil hates Santa Fe. Gabriel’s mother was sentenced to life imprisonment and her boyfriend to death. Netflix did a series on the trials.
