Soon to be former Senator Joe Manchin (D,R,S,? – WV) blamed liberal progressives for the failure of Vice President Kamala Harris to win the race for president against soon to be again President Donald Trump. He said Kamala Harris’ loss shows her moderate political stance is irrelevant in today’s political atmosphere (CNN).

What he failed to mention was that he led the charge to get President Joe Biden off the democratic ticket (Politico). He probably saw an opportunity to corner the nomination for himself (Manchin Chimes in Again). Either way he was helping the Big T, who he claims to see eye to eye with.

That’s probably what he’s trying to sell in this recent interview, a new party for him to lead (Face the Nation on YouTube).

Most of the last four years we’ve watched Manchin sabotage the democrats. He voted against the For the People Act (voting rights), climate change legislation, Biden’s infrastructure bill and basically tried to take over the democratic party.

On their way out Manchin and Sinema assured the Republicans would have a majority seats on the US labor board (AP). Thanks you two; don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
