Suddenly, Trump wants to play nice with Xi

US President again Donald Trump has changed his tone on imposing tariffs on the People’s Republic of China. While campaigning Trump talked about imposing tariffs as high as 60% on Chinese President for Life and General Secretary for the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping‘s nation; ostensibly for enabling fentanyl chemicals to make their way to Mexican drug cartels. The US should also be at odds with the persecution of religious freedom the Communists have conducted against it’s Uyghur population (Wikipedia).

Trump’s god now has him talking about 10% taxes on Chinese imports, while signing decrees to raise import tax on Mexican and Canadian goods to 25%.

“We look forward to doing very well with China and getting along with China,” Trump said Thursday at the World Economic Forum in his usual eloquent narrative style.
