Picking up from where we left off yesterday. Genesis 18 is the precursor to chapter 19. The latter describes the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. By the time we get to verse 19:3 we see that two groups of men have entered the city of Sodom. The first group is of three men, sent by Yhwh, who eat non kosher meals made for them by Abraham. The second is a pair of men who are angels. They eat unleavened cakes made for them by Lott.
Genesis 19:4 When they had not yet retired, and the people of the city, the people of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, the entire populace from every end [of the city]
טֶ֘רֶם֘ יִשְׁכָּ֒בוּ֒ וְאַנְשֵׁ֨י הָעִ֜יר אַנְשֵׁ֤י סְדֹם֙ נָסַ֣בּוּ עַל־הַבַּ֔יִת מִנַּ֖עַר וְעַד־זָקֵ֑ן כָּל־הָעָ֖ם מִקָּצֶֽה

Genesis 19:5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, and let us be intimate with them.”
וַיִּקְרְא֤וּ אֶל־לוֹט֙ וַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ ל֔וֹ אַיֵּ֧ה הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֛ים אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֥אוּ אֵלֶ֖יךָ הַלָּ֑יְלָה הֽוֹצִיאֵ֣ם אֵלֵ֔ינוּ וְנֵֽדְעָ֖ה אֹתָֽם
and called to Lot and said him where are men who came to you having halos tonight and bring to us to know them
From verse 7 {And he (Lot) said, “My brethren, please do not do evil”} we can say that by “know” they mean in the physical sense. Why do these guys want to rape angels? A committee of old men may be for judgement. If a crime has been committed and they believe the two men are guilty of it, they would desire a punishment. The crime would be for rape; eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.
An English translation of Exodus 21:22-24 states: “If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.” Isaac Kalimi said that the lex talionis was “humanized” by the Rabbis who interpreted “an eye for an eye” to mean reasonable pecuniary compensation. As in the case of the Babylonian lex talionis, ethical Judaism and humane Jewish jurisprudence replaces the peshat (literal meaning) of the written Torah.
We know there are two groups of men that entered Sodom. It’s obvious they have the wrong guys. The three angels of Yhwh ate non kosher meals served by Abraham. The Two that visited one of the two Lotts ate a kosher meal.
This is very similar to the owned men from Mordor that entered Santa Fe and commit rapes in the 4th D, sometimes pretending to be the son of Phil. Sometimes they want to be perceived as from this targeted town; representatives of it – they are not. Phil pretends he is his son’s teacher and replaced himself with a victim; to gain undeserved sympathy.
