On May 21, 2024, 9 accused members of the Reichsburger coup plot went on trial in Germany. They have been accused of plotting violent takeover of Germany by inspiring revolution and chaos. Using conspiracy theories against society, some based on Q Anon style rhetoric and anti vaccination theories to stir unrest would create an opportunity for them to take over the country. Reuters

The group recruited police and military members including some high ranking officers. Also accused is the former MP of the populist, right wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party Birgit Malsack-Winkemann. Wikipedia

The accused leader and financier of the coup plot is Heinrich XIII Prinz Reuss<<. According to prosecutors he was to be installed as the Monarch of this new government. Reuss is German royalty and was known as a playboy in his younger days.

Reuss contended that the modern German government and European Union were more distant and inaccessible than feudal princes. Reuss also gave speeches claiming that Germany had been a vassal state since the Second World War. This guy is crazier than Rep Matt Gaetz (??-FL), I think. This groups efforts to turn people against their own society is simply to create an environment they can exploit; it’s a ploy to gain dictatorial power. They will create stories, lie and deceive, in an effort to get people to go to hell and look forward to the trip.
