Meanwhile, in Minneapolis

The national TV news, and news search engines, don’t seem to care much about the ongoing protests in Minneapolis. The shootings of Renee Good, Alex Pretti or the other 31 ICE victims are being brushed under the table by establishment TV.

The purpose of protests is to bring attention to an issue, in this case a grievance against the government. When a powerful segment of the press refuses to honor the protests with coverage they are in effect refusing to honor the grievance.

The grievance not being addressed is the murder of civilians by unhinged goons from ICE.

Under the USA Patriot Act, signed into law after the 9/11 Attacks, the government can interfere with reporting on news if it presents a national security risk. What constitutes a potential threat is subjective, weighed by the secret courts also set up in the Patriot Act. Is it possible this anti American legislation that legitimizes censorship and secret courts is affecting what we see? Or, could it be the 6 major corporations that control 90% of US media are helping Trump out?
