In Giants Don’t Like History it was pointed out that at face value there isn’t much more than a cosmetic difference between western polytheistic and monotheistic religions. Let’s consider the things these religions have in common.
Polytheistic western religions had several versions of a “boss” god and 6 major male deities. One of the latter group was one that punished those who didn’t obey the boss god. In Egyptian beliefs these were Ra and Anubis. Ra was personified in the flesh by the Pharaoh; a living god one might say.
In Christianity and Islam the question of the relationship between Yhwh and Satan is tricky. Are Yhwh and Satan enemies? If Satan punishes those who disobey Yhwh is he not working for Yhwh? There is the question; is Yhwh actually God? There is also the “good cop bad cop” story of Job. They sure kept that poor guy busy.
1 Samuel 2:6 Yhwh kills and makes alive; He brings down to Sheol and raises up.
When a Egyptian person died it was believed their heart was weighed against a feather; if the heart was heavier the person was guilty and condemned to an eternal hell run by Anubis. An eternal afterlife of happiness awaited someone who’s heart was not heavier than the feather. Good luck with that.
Christian and Islamic traditions have similar beliefs to that of the Egyptians. If a soul is guilty they go to hell and eternal damnation. If the soul is found innocent they go to heaven, also for eternity. The difference being that in Christianity God is the God of love and forgiveness and belief in Christ is what can bring people eternal life.
This brings us to Judaism. The Ancient Jews believed the souls of the dead went to an actual place called Gehinnom. This was a valley south of Jerusalem. The souls stayed there for 12 months before being reborn.
The Tanakh also mentions Sheol. It is not well defined, it seems souls, good or evil, can go to Sheol when the physical body dies. Job laments and wants to go to Sheol. Ywhw sends those who rebel against Moses’ leadership there. Numbers 16: 29-33
Some consider it (Sheol) a spiritual forge where the soul is purified for its eventual ascent to Olam Habah (heb. עולם הבא; lit. “The world to come”, often viewed as analogous to heaven). This is also mentioned in the Kabbalah, where the soul is described as breaking, like the flame of a candle lighting another: the part of the soul that ascends being pure and the “unfinished” piece being reborn. These beliefs have changed over time and vary in different sects. Modern Jewish thinkers don’t generally focus on beliefs of heaven and hell. (My Jewish Learning).
The major similarity of Western religions, polytheistic and monotheistic, is they do not discuss reincarnation. (see Fruit of a Tree)
To accomplish their manipulations certain controllers have go to guys. They are guided through their lifetimes to help achieve political goals. Controllers like to claim ownership of their guys, through different lifetimes. Same agent, same controller, different lifetime.

This is the birth chart of Vojislav Tankosić ( 20 September 1880 – 2 November 1915). Tankosic was a Serbian military officer. He was described as rude and pompous.
