One result of the bulk of biased pro Hamas news reports (see yesterday’s post) is the encouragement of anti Jewish violence in the US. The Boulder fire attack, the murder of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C., and an arson attack against Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro are recent examples.
According to data released in the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) latest Audit of Antisemitic Incidents antisemitism in the US surged to break “all previous annual records” in 2024. The ADL recorded 9,354 antisemitic incidents last year — an average of 25.6 a day — across the US, creating an atmosphere of hate not experienced in the nearly thirty years since the organization began tracking such data in 1979. A second result of biased media reports favoring Hamas supplied data is it encourages Hamas not to surrender the hostages and end the conflict. They feel the West will force Israel to cave in as it did in the 2006 Gaza Israel Conflict when Hamas first started firing rockets into Israel and took an IDF soldier hostage. Hamas fails to see the Israelis will not be swayed again. If the Israelis had finished off Hamas in 2006 the Oct 7th attacks wouldn’t have happened. Hamas didn’t have the bulk of weapons nor the 30,000 troops it has groomed through schools back in 2006.
