Khamenei’s Reaction

The Ayatollah Khamenei was quite proud after Netanyahu’s speech at the UN. “Today, the evil Zionist regime is the most despised and isolated regime in the world,” he wrote in a post on X, captioning a photo of Netanyahu speaking to a largely empty General Assembly (I24 News).

The Ayatollah, appointed successor by Ruhollah Khomeini, has continued his support of terrorist groups in the Middle East. The Houthi rebels in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. These groups attack Israel to garner financial support, recruits and popularity among Islamic adherents by exploiting anti Semitic sentiments. Khamenei would like his Iran to be the dominant force in the Middle East.

Khameini has repeated the rhetoric of John Mearsheimer, Kevin B MacDonald, and white supremacists that Isreal and the US are state sponsors of terrorism. Doublespeak. Khaemeini hides his intention to dominate Arab lands behind rhetoric, diversion and holy robes.

Many Iranians are not content with the current theocratic regime. In September of 2022 Mahsa Amini, a Kurd, was arrested by Iranian police for wearing her hijab incorrectly. She died from head trauma incurred while incarcerated. According to witnesses she was beaten with batons. Her relatives say her body had bruises in the groin area. The Iranian regime claimed her death was complications from a childhood surgery. Protests erupted and still occur to some degree today. Regime forces have ruthlessly sought to repress the demonstrations.

Khameini’s biggest problem might be his own populace. The Hamas Israel Conflict provides a diversion for his nation’s news. This fact may have contributed to Ismael Haniyeh’s demise if he was considering a peace agreement with Israel. The Islamic regime has closed internet access to it’s citizens. Iranian expats and some citizens in country have expressed support for Isreal.

Iranian expats and protestors in Iran have largely been ignored by the US Media. This is another injustice dealt to people under authoritarian rule or suffering in war zones in places other than Gaza.
