Karl Marx and the US Civil War

The subject of Karl Marx (says he was Erwin Rommel but is lying) and his activities during the US Civil War is unfamiliar for some. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels wrote articles for news papers during this time, including the New York Daily Tribune. Marx wrote letters to Abraham Lincoln; the latter being interested in workers movements like Socialism and Unionism.

Marx lived in London at the time. Great Britain had considered helping the Confederacy, still having interest in their former colonies after their loss of the War of 1812. The Trent Affair (Nov 8, 1861) occurred when the US government arrested two Confederate diplomats from a British mail ship enroute to secure support for their war effort. The incident almost led to war between the US and Great Britain. The British did sell weapons to the Confederacy; John Laird and Sons shipyard produced two warships for the Confederate Navy.

What kind of man was Marx? We can see his adopted nation supported the Confederacy yet he seemingly supported the Union. His writings on slavery hold some clues.

The cultivation of the Southern export articles, cotton, tobacco, sugar, etc., carried on by slaves, is only renumerative as long as it is conducted with large gangs of slaves, on a mass scale and on wide expanses of a naturally fertile soil, which requires only simple labor. Intensive cultivation, which depends less on fertility of the soil than on investment of capital, intelligence and energy of labor, is contrary to the nature of slavery.” Karl Marx – October 20, 1861, Die Presse article, “The North American Civil War.”

Without slavery, North America, the most progressive of countries, would be transformed into a patriarchal country. Wipe out North America from the map of the world and you will have anarchy— the complete decay of modern commerce and civilization. Abolish slavery and you will have wiped America off the map of nations.” Karl Marx, “The Poverty of Philosophy,” 1847

Did Karl Marx incorrectly believe that if the North won the war, and slavery was abolished, the US economy would falter and the nation fall? It would be a magnificent blow against capitalism for his world wide socialist revolution (First International). Of course, if the South won the country would have been divided; a certain victory against the US.

His claim to support the North because he thought their victory would bring the downfall of the US was nothing more than a political ploy. A ploy designed to cover his ass in future lifetimes. He was traveling around being an angel of light while his buddies played Satan just like this time; pretending to be Republicans or Democrats when actually simply tyrannical monarchists. The man gods had some of their guys on both sides of the civil war and yes they could play god to them while living in Europe. Attempting to befriend Lincoln through correspondence was another way to throw future historians off track.

After the war the fascist man gods assassinated Abraham Lincoln (case study 44) and James Garfield (case study 69). They transplanted their faithful members from America to help in their next attempt at world domination; Marxism in Europe. Fromm (Marx) would go on to handle Hitler.

BELOW ARE TWO (SORRY) CASE STUDIES TO ILLUSTRATE THE POINT

One way to have an trusted agent transfer to a new country is to have them actually move there. When they die they will naturally reincarnate in the new nation. Such is the case with this agent of the fascist Controllers.

This man is Carl Christian Schurz (March 2, 1829 – May 14, 1906). He was a German born politician and journalist who emigrated to the United States in July of 1852. He became a Brigadier General and fought for the Union Army in the Civil War. After the war he became a US Senator for the state of Missouri. He broke with president Grant and opposed using the US Army to disband the Ku Klux Klan. He also served as US Secretary of the Interior where he continued the practice of relocating Native Americans to substandard lands.

This man is Joseph Raymond McCarthy (November 14, 1908 – May 2, 1957). He was an attorney and politician who served in the US Senate for the state of Wisconsin. McCarthy is best known for his anti-communist crusade of the Cold War. He accused members of the US government especially in the State Department, the press, the film industry, the US Army, Voice of America and the Truman Administration of being infiltrated with communist subversives. He also accused people in and outside the government of being homosexuals. The risk of being accused by McCarthy was used as blackmail for political favors.

McCarthyism; a mid-20th century political attitude characterized chiefly by opposition to elements held to be subversive and by the use of tactics involving personal attacks on individuals by means of widely publicized indiscriminate allegations especially on the basis of unsubstantiated charges” -Merriam-Webster Dictionary

During the Malmedy massacre trials of Waffen SS men accused of murdering American prisoners of war in 1944 McCarthy lobbied for the commutation of the death sentence. It is believed McCarthy was one of the movers behind Operation Paperclip that brought 1,600 German Nazi scientists and technicians to the US (Constantine Report). McCarthy frequently used anti-Jewish slurs. He also received enthusiastic support from antisemitic politicians including Ku Klux Klansman Wesley Swift, and according to friends would display his copy of Mein Kampf, stating, “That’s the way to do it.”

John C Breckinridge

John Cabell Breckinridge (January 16, 1821 – May 17, 1875) was a Southern Democrat and youngest vice president (under James Buchanan) in US history. Breckinridge lost a presidential bid against Abraham Lincoln in the 1860 US elections.

Breckinridge held pro-slavery views and moved South to become a Confederate General having served in the Mexican American War as part of an occupation force. He served under Braxton Bragg until being appointed the CSA Secretary of War by Confederate President Jefferson Davis.

At the end of the war Breckinridge fled to Europe by way of Havanah and later to Canada. When former Confederates were granted amnesty by President Andrew Johnson in 1868 Brekinridge returned to Kentucky. There he worked as a lawyer and invested in real estate. He attempted to gain a railroad contract through his lands. Breckinridge never returned to politics and died in 1875.

Benito Mussolini

Benito Mussolini (29 July 1883 – 28 April 1945) was a politician and journalist who became the Prime Minister and fascist dictator of Italy.

Mussolini achieved good grades in school and was appreciated by his teachers despite his violent character. He qualified as an elementary schoolmaster in July 1901. Mussolini emigrated to Switzerland to avoid compulsory military service in 1902. There he studied Nietzsche, Pareto and Sorel. He became involved in the Italian Socialist movement as a writer for Avanti!, a counterpart to the German Socialist newspaper Vorwarts.

In 1904 Mussolini returned to Italy after amnesty was granted for military deserters. He had unknowingly been convicted in absentia and was required to serve to be pardoned. He served for two years and returned to teaching in 1906. He learned French and German and studied Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. He became one of the prominent members of the Italian Socialist Pary.

Mussolini rejected egalitarianism, a core doctrine of socialism. He was influenced by Nietzsche’s anti-Christian ideas and negation of God’s existence. Mussolini felt that socialism had faltered, in view of the failures of Marxist determinism and social democratic reformism, and believed that Nietzsche’s ideas would strengthen socialism. Mussolini’s writings came to reflect an abandonment of Marxism and egalitarianism in favor of Nietzsche’s übermensch concept and anti-egalitarianism. Wikipedia

When World War I began the Italian Socialists opted for neutrality. Mussolini saw the war as an opportunity and eventually threw his lot in with the Italian Nationalists; wanting to join the war on the side of the allies to liberate their country from Austria-Hungary and the Habsburgs. This got him expelled from the ISP.

He joined the Italian military in 1915 and fought in WWI until being injured by shrapnel in 1917. He was discharged from the hospital in August 1917 and resumed his editor-in-chief position at his new fascist paper, Il Popolo d’Italia. This paper helped him rise to be the leader of the Fasci Italiani di Combattimento and later the Italian National Fascist Party.

Mussolini and his fascists staged a coup against the government of King Victor Emmanuel III in October of 1922. The attempt was a failure but resulted in a power sharing agreement with Mussolini as the Prime Minister. Mussolini formed the Grand Council of Fascism and became the defacto ruler of Italy. He started a fascist youth organization called Youth Fasces of Combat. On June 10, 1940 Mussolini (il Duce) announced the entry of Italy into World War II on the side of Germany and the axis nations.

After the invasion of Italy by the Allies the Grand Council of Fascism asked King Emmanuel III to resume his authority. They arrested Mussolini in July of 1943. Mussolini was rescued by the German Nazis. There was an attempt to reinstall him as the leader of Italy in the northern part of the country called the Salo Republic. The allied victory led to the Salo Republic’s fall and Mussolini, with his wife and entourage, fled. They were apprehended and executed, presumably by the partisan Walter Audiso; their bodies sent to Milan where crowds threw vegetables, spit and urinated on and beat the corpses. They were later hung upside down from girders of a service station.
