Rep Thomas Massie (R-KY) wants Hegseth to resign and has threatened to file articles of impeachment if he doesn’t (Forbes). Former rep Matt Gaetz (R-Purgatory) conducted a review of Hegseth’s financial records. He found a link between Hegseth’s wife’s consulting company and Lockheed Martin (WGTC). You’d think Matt and Pete would get along better (Salon).

As for Pete? He’ll be expected to defend himself, and probably lose. He will dutifully shoulder the blame for the designed to fail attack on Iran and save face for Donald Trump, MAGA and most importantly their man god.

The idea is the sheep will forget the midterms were more about the economy than the War with Iran (4dforum). You may even hear some democrats citing the Iran War for their win. Pete will take away the blame and everything will be ok. The kleptocrats will continue raping US government coffers for the benefit of the super wealthy and major corporations. Trump will have saved the Iranian Theocracy from it’s own people, with it’s new rulers Motjaba Khamenei and Massoud Pezeshkian. And no one will ever know.
